R-TYPE II: A Classic Old-School Game
R-Type II is a horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game developed by Irem in 1989, now available on iPhone thanks to DotEmu. The player controls a ship called the R-9C, an improved version of its predecessor, the R-9, to take down the Bydo Empire. With power-ups, two new types of weapons, and a new anti-ground unit bomb, fight through six levels with unique bosses. Upgrade to new weapons, power-ups, and attachments to fight wave of enemies.
